Our Story
We believe the most powerful medicine combines the depth of classical TCM with the rigor of modern clinical science.
Our Philosophy
We practice medicine, not wellness theater.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the world's oldest and most rigorously tested medical systems. Over 5,000 years, generations of physicians refined diagnostic frameworks, treatment protocols, and pharmacological knowledge that modern research continues to validate.
At our clinic, every treatment decision is grounded in classical TCM theory - the meridian system, Qi dynamics, Five Element diagnostics - and cross-referenced against current peer-reviewed research. We don't choose between tradition and science. We use both.
Our clinical focus is precise: accelerate recovery from injury and illness, and build the physiological resilience that prevents recurrence. No ambiguity. No filler treatments. Measurable outcomes.
The Practitioner
Lead Practitioner
Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine · Licensed Acupuncturist · NCCAOM Diplomate
With years of clinical practice and educational expirience, our lead Practitioner brings a rare combination of classical TCM training and advanced Western medical knowledge. Doctoral training in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine was followed by post-doctoral clinical research in integrative pain management and neurological rehabilitation.
Specializations include musculoskeletal recovery, injury rehabilitation, neurological conditions, chronic pain management, and preventive care protocols. Every patient receives a comprehensive intake assessment and a treatment plan designed specifically for their condition and goals.
Who We Serve
At Vita Acupuncture Clinic, we work with patients who often feel caught between “normal” test results and not feeling normal in their daily life. Many have already seen multiple providers, tried different treatments, or been told that “everything looks fine,” despite ongoing symptoms.
Our approach is designed for patients who value in-depth evaluation, precision-based treatment planning, and a comprehensive understanding of their physiological function.
Persistent fatigue or low energy that does not improve with rest.
Brain fog, reduced focus, or cognitive fatigue.
Chronic pain, muscle tension, or movement limitations.
Slow recovery after surgery, injury, or illness.
Digestive dysfunction, bloating, or irregular metabolism.
Stress intolerance, burnout, or nervous system dysregulation.
Hormonal imbalance or age-related physiological decline.
Reduced physical performance or overall resilience.
We work best with individuals who are engaged in their health journey and interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms affecting their well-being.
This is a clinical environment focused on depth, precision, and integration — where the goal is not simply to feel better temporarily, but to restore the body's ability to perform, recover, and sustain optimal health over time.
The Tradition
Classical Period
~2700 BCE
The Huangdi Neijing established the foundational theory of TCM — meridians, Qi, Yin-Yang dynamics, and the Five Elements. Still the cornerstone of clinical training today.
Medieval Development
~200–1600 CE
Generations of physician-scholars refined diagnostic methods, herbal pharmacology, and Acupuncture point theory. Clinical observations accumulated across thousands of practitioners and millions of patients.
Modern Integration
20th–21st Century
Peer-reviewed research now validates TCM mechanisms at the neurological, immunological, and biochemical level. We integrate this science into every treatment protocol.
Modern Science
We don't ask you to choose between tradition and science. Our protocols are informed by both — and that's what makes them effective.
Neurological Research
fMRI studies confirm Acupuncture modulates pain processing pathways, limbic activity, and autonomic nervous system function.
Immunological Evidence
Clinical trials demonstrate measurable effects on inflammatory markers, cytokine regulation, and immune cell activity.
Musculoskeletal Outcomes
Systematic reviews support Acupuncture for chronic low back pain, osteoarthritis, neck pain, and post-surgical recovery.
Integrative Protocols
We combine classical point selection with current clinical research to build treatment plans that are both time-tested and scientifically grounded.
